Privacy Policy – My Memory App

Effective 16 August 2026

My Memory App is a personal diary for addresses, work history, contracts, payment plans, and memorable dates. This page explains what information the app collects, why, and how you can control it.

1. Information we collect

The app collects only what it needs to run your diary and remind you about the dates that matter to you:

Data Why we have it
Email address & password Creates and secures your account. Your password is never stored or visible to us — it’s handled directly by our authentication provider.
Diary entries Category, title, place, start/end dates, notes, and reminder preference — whatever you choose to write into an entry.
Account identifier A random ID used internally to link entries to your account.

We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, device tracking data, or location data. The app contains no ad or analytics software.

2. How we use it

  • To create your account and let you sign back in.
  • To save, display, and let you edit or delete your diary entries.
  • To send you a reminder email when an entry you’ve flagged is due — on the day, or a week before — only if you set an alert on that entry.

We do not use your entries to train models, generate recommendations, or profile you in any way.

3. Who we share it with

We don’t sell your data or share it with advertisers. A small number of service providers process it on our behalf, strictly to run the app:

Provider Role
Supabase Hosts our database and handles account sign-in. Your entries and account details live here, protected so only your own account can read or write them.
Resend Delivers reminder emails on our behalf. Only your email address and the reminder content are shared with it, and only when a reminder is due.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public.

4. Storage & security

  • Entries are stored in a Postgres database with row-level security enabled, so your account can only ever read or write your own rows — not any other user’s.
  • All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
  • Passwords are hashed and managed by our authentication provider; we never see or store them in plain text.
  • The mobile app stores nothing beyond a session token on your device — your entries live in the cloud database, not locally.

5. Retention & deletion

We keep your account and entries for as long as your account exists. You can delete individual entries at any time from within the app. To delete your entire account and all associated data, email us at the address below and we’ll remove it within 30 days.

6. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict how it’s processed. To exercise any of these, contact us — we’ll respond within 30 days.

7. Children’s privacy

My Memory App is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we’ll delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
